Here are button quail #1 next to a dice, to give you an idea of his tiny size.....

Here is quail #1 this morning, under his 25 watt bulb with his good buddy fuzzy hair band and tiny bobble head dog...... (yeah, they are way bigger than him)

Here is the other baby, who was a bit shrink wrapped, so I just peeled back his membraine, and he jumped out into my hand a few seconds after I snapped this! I hope we get some more!!!![]()
These babies are SOOOO tiny!!! The eggs are about 1/2" tall. If my courturnix look like popcorns w/toothpick legs, this guy looks like he could hide inside a popcorn, but their feet are freaking huge for thier size!
Oooo.. Yes I saw those in mine too. Had to resist. Also had to resist the silver laced wyns in there.lol.

ive raised coons .
had one last year actually but never a squirrel
So cute, Julie!! Brought back a super old and kind of funny memory for me of when I was 13-14 and volunteered at humane society. We got a few day old baby squirrels and I got to feed them with a syringe tube. I left the syringe in my pocket and my parents found it when doing laundry. They were concerned why I would have such an item in my pocket and sat me down for a "talk". Imagine their relief when they realized how silly they had reacted.
