Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

You have to show us lots of baby pics! I love these guys, am already thinking of cutting down on the chickens and getting more ornamental waterfowl instead. Prettier, less messy, quieter. I want more. And some geese, cacklers or bar headed I think.
Yay for the new scovies.

I will add pictures as soon as they hatch so far they are due around the end of nov.

hi Julie! Hows things? Hows squirrel?
The squirrel got released a few months ago. Last I saw of her she had buddied up with another squirrel, and she's been building a nest in a tree in our front yard. She hasn't stayed friendly, but has stayed within sight. I'm happy she's happy.

Awww...what a happy ending.

Bumble(my blind duckling) is close to 6 weeks old and all feathered out. Obviously finding her food just fine. Found her flat on her back stuck today, thought the worst at first but the tubby little duckling was just resting like that after flipping, lol.

Sounds like Dora ... She was the flippy one around year. Imagin walking out to a goose doing that, lol They do love to give us a scare.

Marty its the time of the year mostly. Sept/Oct is big sell off months for most goats, and again in spring. We sold our extras in early october this year. What breed are you looking for, and how far are you willing to travel?
