Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

yea, he built the cabinet and it had ran great until this morning. I'm gonna candle tomorrow but I really hold no hope of any being viable after that.
also have 4 Embden hatched today but 2 sold already and a 5th trying to come out of the egg yet. But I think my girls are about done. and we'd had 100% hatch rate on the Embdens... guess ti was too good to last. There is always next year... right?
I'll be done in a bout 6 weeks until next year.

I've had some weird stuff go on with bators and still had a hatch. I hope you get enough viable eggs surviving that it's not a total loss.
Thanks all have it running again with new system in it already redesigning it for next year with double safeties built into it
Frustrating. I'm sure you've already let Incubator Warehouse know all about it. I can't wait to see your redesign!

update just talk to one of the owners of incubator warehouse and they are taking care of this with no problems and considering discontinuing the thermostat

ok I was told to post my questions here, and that I would get responses faster! So here it goes,

One of our Ducklings hatched early, and He's doing ok as of right now. But while it was in the incubator it flopped around in the incubator all night and rolled the eggs all over the place. :/ I'm worried that it might of killed the other ducklings. is this ok?? One seems to move but the others are not moving anymore. and also how long can they go over their hatch date?? Its been about 30 days. and they were all moving when the one hatched but now they are not all moving anymore! PLease help if you know anything!!! very worried! Thank you!

He probably didn't do any harm to the other eggs. It happens.

30 days is more than "normal." Did you have your temp too low? That will delay the hatch.

Have you candled the eggs to see what's going on inside? Have they externally pipped?

We have candled the eggs, they had veins in all of them the other day and now only one does. I don't know what that means. What does piped mean?? sry Im new at this

If the veins have disappeared, they are probably dead. At this point, though, the eggs should be so full of duckling that it would be hard to see anything. Do you see any movement?

Eggs internally "pip" (break through the membrane into the air cell and then externally "pip" (break through the egg shell). Have you read the incubation guide that's at the top of the duck "sticky" section? It's full of good info that I think would answer a lot of your questions.
