AND- I'm hoping to go pick up my new duckie today!!! I got a PM from her on the BYC, it's actually ChickenCrazy12 that has the drake! Small little teeny tiny world!!

QJ, I know! I even woke hubby up to show him. They are starting to really move! I guess I could candle, but I wanted to do a 24 hour lockdown until 5:30 tonight for the new eggs. I doubt I will be able to wait that long before opening bator.

That's crazy!! That happened to SM too. 5 days early. And I really think it was Learycow that happened to as well, and that was who Sm had gotten her eggs from. So that all made sense.
Where did you get these eggs?

I got them here from Sebrightmom. Her eggs were super duper fertile! Had day 6-7 looking spider vein development on day 4. OK... so I am thinking I need to get my hatcher going asap... and move at least the rocking eggs to a hatcher? My bator is currently at 100 degrees and 52%.

Holy crap! Veins on day 4. I didn't get veins til about day 7. I would slip a candle in there when you move them.

LOL They are supercharged eggs. I have been pretty good with the LG. It stays pretty well between 99-102, and the humidity is between 50-60. I did not touch them for the 1st 24 hours, then I only turned them 2x a day. I did my first candle at day 4 and was shocked!

Now they are rocking harder!! Go duckies!!

You will see moving when the ducks are turning to get ready for pipping and hatching. Get the hatcher ready and stable. Then you can move them over and hand turn if needed until lockdown or the first external pip. Which ever comes first.
