Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

RG, what is in that feed mix?? I don't think I live anywhere near you (you live in Washington state, right?) and I'd love to see if the mills near me would do a mix like that. Also, do you feed it just like that, or cook/soak it first?

I feed it as is, dry. I have no idea what is in the mix, alot of good stuff ~ You might have someone in your area that does. I just happened by her, out of a auction conversation. She does not promote, or advertise anywhere. So ask around and you might find someone?

Bakin, REALLY hope you find your trio today!

ME TOO!

My white African gander is hurt. He appears to have a puncture on body just to the inside of right leg, perhaps from a downed tree branch or something like that. It doesn't look life threatening, but he has bled a lot. I have a call out to my vet to get his advice for best course of treatment and am trying to rouse my husband to get his assistance in catching him.

Good Luck! I know he is in good hands with you!

Is she in Chehalis? TOLEDO, WA

Do you bring your own container and fill it up? Bring your own containers or you can have her load a 500-2,000# bag in the back of your truck ~ Unload it into your containers when you get home.

Do you need to call first or you just show up? You call her & tell her what you need, and she will have it ready for you, or if it is loadable in your own containers, you can go there after you talk with her, if she isn't going to be around.

Do you have her number or address? YES

So is it a standard mix that she always has on hand? It changes a little per the season & whats on hand, but this is pretty much what ir always is, with only a little variation. She ALWAYS has feed & YES reliable year round!

Can you order a special mix? I have never asked

Ok guys I have been out since the crap of dawn looking for those fools and I still have not found them, I hope where ever they went they are safe and happy but obviously they are not meant to be with me! Thank you for all you thoughts

Bakin, REALLY hope you find your trio today! :fl I gotta say, I kinda laughed when you said the neighbors called the cops because of goose poo! Do they fine wildlife control if a wild animal poos on their lawn?? :lau Sorry, just had to get that out... :hugs Hope you find them soon, and they are all safe, and maybe some baked goods might appease your neighbors? Appeal to their (most likely) knowledge of stressful days where everything that could go wrong does, and maybe they'll come around?

I know he is kinda a crappy person all around so I try not to take it to personally, I tried the baked goods once but he is a diabetic so that made him even more of a creep

Bakin, I am so sorry!!

Do you have rivers, lakes or large ponds close by?I would think a body of water would be the first place water fowl would look for.

Hi! Anybody there that can help me? I have duck eggs in the incubator on day 11 and chick and duck eggs on day four. My day 11 eggs: there are six. One is light throughout and the others five are pretty dark inside. I sort of see a vein in one but certainly not much. Here is one of the eggs
400

Day 11, the egg should be getting fuller with dark space. That is good! Only veins easy to see days 4-8 or 9. You look for an increase in full used space. Your air sac will contine to change. You might use a pencil to mark air sack now, then remark in a week to see progress and detect changes inside egg.

Your doing fine!
