OMG ya'all. I just went and collected eggs and my hasn't laid in 9+ months RIR laid an egg! She used to lay the prettiest easter eggs, light tan on top and darker brown on the bottom, with speckles and a white ring around the middle. This one's color is slightly off from the regular eggs I get so I know it's not theirs, speckled, and has faint lines around the middle. Plus I saw her in the nest box yesterday ( she is the only one with enough clout to kick the broodies off) but I didn't think anything, figured she was going to lay another weird tumor egg, but it's a pretty little perfect egg.

UGH! How funny I think its a Manday! My hubby went to work only to turn around and come back 10 minutes later.... Stoppin around the house (mind you its 3:30AM) Then comes storminn into our bedroom and yells at me YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE ME LATE FOR WORK! WHERE DID YOU PUT MY WALLET! I replied " YOU put it in your lunch bag last night" (So he had it al along & man I bet he felt like such a Doosh Waffle!)

Jette doesnt have a pea comb he has a single but ebony does have a pea comb so their offspring should be 50/50 right??

K guys just got home from class.
Checked the eggs.
And idk
Both now look the exact same
Bo movement
No sound
But. I am opting not to help them. If they are strong enough to atleast start an extrrnal pip and the. Need help. I will help. But i they cant even internally pip and let me know they have a will to live. Then i think i need to let nature take its course

hummm.. looking at the picture of ebony and that Barred rock has a pretty dirty bum... i wonder if i should take her in and clean it up..
