Do chicks recover the way ducklings do? Because I have had 3 scares with various babies, but all recovered 100% with polvisol drops.

I think it depends. Yes and no.

I've given it a concoction of mash, apple cider vinegar, sav a chic water and nutridrench.

In about 30 minutes I'm going to go old school on it and give it milk.
 
im going to test it tomarrow.
i read online to take a containes put lots of ice and some water in .
and put the therm in. keeping it off the bottom and sides.
it should read 32 degrees.

Let me know how that goes. I've got this one that I trust. Wouldn't ya know it's my grandpa's old one that came with the cabinet bator. ;)

i trusted mine 2 till it went all wonky and the mercury split in 2, !!!!

so ill keep you posted on the results im not too worried.
your guys said cooler was better than hotter on the temp.
and the swimmers are active.

my great grandpas geese started laying .
i should be getting eggs soon, for crafts.
i may just stick a couple in the bator for the experience.
the cool thing is these geese are related to the ones my granma use to have years ago.
and they have been living at great gpas for over 12 years. they were great grandma's. (she passed 12 yrs ago)

and when it gets warmer im going to get turkey eggs for grandma. since she loves them so much.

and my goal is to find some silky hens soon =)
