Thanks!! I hear clicking sounds from 2 eggs now. I will do a quick candle in a couple of hours to check on shadowing status of the remaining eggs. I have to open bator anyway to add sponges. Humidity is currently sitting at 58% with one vent hole open.
Only 72 hours to go... good thing I have eggs in the other bator that need attention to distract me.
Almost half of my 8 ancona eggs have internally pipped in the last couple of hours. I expect the other four to pip by the morning at the latest. In my experience (with my bator in my conditions) my ducks internally pip on day 24-25, externally pip on day 25-26, then hatch on day 27 into morning of day 28. I stop turning my eggs when air cell makes dramatic dip, which is usually by day 23. Hatching is a 72 hour process.
