my dog once wolfed a cake off a tall counter in about 30 seconds of my back turned!

hey Quackers whats Craka lakin ?

Had an unexpected trip to the post office today. Hubby didn't realize the eggs he ordered were going to be marked for post office pickup, so I had to go rushing down there to fetch them.

On that note, my incubator #2 is about to be over capacity. Boss has been giving me duck eggs even when I don't ask for them now. There may be 5 welsh harlequin eggs coming to me too. But one of the eggs I got from the farm today is a Silkie duck!

DG: Got the eggs you sent today. All made it just fine no need to worry!

I would leave the shock collar as a last resort. I know I HATE getting shocked--it's a horrible sensation. I've only used it on one of my four dogs and only as a last resort. My Pointer makes the infamous Marley look like an angel. He's lucky he has a really funny personality because he is the worst dog ever! He's 12 years old and I still have to watch him like a puppy or he gets into mischief. My dad calls him "the White Devil."

This is him last summer. We were going camping and I realized I left my pillow and sleeping bag in the house. I left him alone in the car for about 60 seconds and when I got back he'd found some napkins to tear up. When he saw me coming he jumped into the passenger seat and layed down.

Hopefully with a GR/GSD mix you won't need it.

I know, JZ! Poor eggie.

Yay!!!! Come on chickies!

Christine, it's nice that you still made your dog an iced tea though.
ROFL!

Hello, babies!

Please share the recipe. That is hubby's favorite! It's just lemon or white cake mix, right? Then line the pan with the pineapple rings and dump the cake batter on top? I'm such a lousy baker.

SM.. you seem to have all the weird luck with hatches. My chicks were right on time, but the ducks... 1-2 days early.

Welcome! I've never hatched calls. Fingers crossed for you!

What are you going to name them? Maytag, Frigidaire, Whirlpool and Amana perhaps?

See below...

This is probably a result of bad position in the egg for too long. It happens. I'm going to say this: my Pocket behaved similarly, but in your duckling's case, it looks to me like it isn't dragging the leg straight out behind it. How do the joints behave? Have you gently tried to flex the leg and looked for slipped tendon?

Give the little one some time and see what happens.

Lol at the names.

Sounds like you are going to have a lot of duckling pics to show us in about 4 weeks.

Can't blaim you. I'd go for the cake receipe too! LOL You want the easy or harder one? (I owned a cake shop and continue to be a cake lady) Both are pretty good, but one cheats w/a box mix thats dudded up. The other is scratch.
