Four of my drakes went to a new home today. They are going to a good home in a residential neighborhood where they will be spoiled rotten.

Well this is my first time hatching anything....and I have 5 pekin/Cayuga crosses. (Started with 7 and two were clear. ( a week later I added 3 blue andalusian cross chicks cause I got rid of the roost and got to wondering what that cross would look like and how their eggs would change.) We are on day 21/ 13 ( I think I have to check my notes for sure) everyone is looking good ( well its getting pretty much impossible to see anything in the duck eggs.... oh and did I mention this is a homemade bator (guts of an old hovabator)) so yeah now I'm I'm getting anxious!

I'm with you! I have 17 welsh harlequins incubating right now, and two are due Saturday! I just hatched out some silkie chicks that I set a few days after them so I'm hopeful for these guys. They're shipped, though, and one has a messed up air cell. I'm really hoping the little one makes it!
