I would have accused anyone of photoshop in that picture with 40 ducks in the back of an SUV.

But since we all saw the story unfold, I believe it, and that makes the pic even more awesome. Thank you for mopping up somebody else's mess. Literally. Like so many others...if only I lived closer.

Anyways, the ducks call to me every time I go outside. It sounds something like, "Quack! Food, woman! Water! Mist us! Quack quack!" so, I brought them another half bucket of food, cleaned out their waters again, and misted them for 20 minutes or so. They looooove it. I think we're going to borrow a sprinkler from one of my mom's employees to keep them cool. Luckily, it's only going to be 90 degrees today, and it's only 84 now! Yesterday it was around 97, heat index 104 while we were rounding them up.

I'm a bit too far to take any birds and don't even have a place to put them if I was to get some, but I'd like to help out.

The feed bill will be fairly big if you have to keep those ducks for very long...hopefully you can find someone to help with the feed.

You are an amazing person, and it seems like although there is one bad egg in your community, most of the people there are good people as well. You should submit this story on ireport on cnn.com. Maybe they would pick it up on their regular page, and then other news agencies would as well. They are always looking for "unusual" stories.
