Feisty....Aurora is selling poults so fast they may still be wet behind the ears!!:lau.
Boy wouldn't that be cool to find a hen in the neighborhood! Maybe they will trade for a Bourbon Boy. ;)

Feedman, your boys are gorgeous! Thanks for the pics! So how are you setting up your breeding pens this year? And are you too brooding those babies in the house? Seems to be a trend!

Ralph....we need Andy pictures. I'm sure he's growing like crazy.

We are having thunderstorms this morning with about 2 inches of rain. It's 36 degrees. I'm grateful we aren't getting an ice storm. We usually get ice instead of snow. And it's supposed to be 70 this weekend. This has been such a wacky winter.

Poor Daisy is such a mess. Why is she molting in February? She will hop up next to me on the garden bench but yips if I touch her. She's miserable.

Aurora...Poult Pusher Extraordinaire! Poor little misfit....amazed you found a home for it.

Ice is the worst. Luckily we haven't had our usual ice storm here this winter. But its been a wacky winter. So who knows....guess it could still happen.

One of my Australorps just finished a molt. And I'm happy to say is back to laying eggs. Annie is almost done with new feathers. And Daisy is the biggest mess ever! She still hops up next to me, but does not want to be touched. Those new feathers have got to hurt. Ever since I've had her she has had the most ragged tail. I'm so anxious to see her with new tail feathers. Annie's are beautiful.
