Yeah, but most are in pretty good shape. People leave out food and water and some people pet them. At butcher shops for example they often leave out meat scraps.

But some people poison them. Usually they don't though.

I mean they're not in our area anyway. Somewhere in Brazil probably has them, maybe in the really big cities.

I have to say it's the toughest thing walking though an animal shelter.. Seeing all those brown hopeful but sad eyes stare at you as you walk past.

The hardest thing for me is reading why they were given up... Barks, Runaway, Jump, chew things, etc... Makes it hard thinking just how easy those things are to train out of them. So my dream is to take up to 12 dogs a year and retrain them and find them new homes!

Makes me want to take them all home...
