Do you keep the light on at night?
I'm racking my brain and thinking out loud here... I keep coming back to beef liver and/or brewers yeast and maybe some alfalfa meal. We want the vitamins, iron, need the amino acids to aid in using the vitamins and a little shot of protein that's low fat. Alfalfa meal is full of amino acids and a low fat (3%) protein (17%). Thoughts???i am thinking about comparing some dog foods (like blue buffalo) that are high protein and seeing how the fat and other stuff is
I have one suggestion... I see he has water with stuff in it. I f he were mine I would offer a second dish of plain water. Birds can be picky about their water, so I would want to be sure he was drinking as much as possible.Kathy, feel free to jump in here too.![]()

It's something a few vets have suggested to me.I will get him a second bowl!
Crickets and meal worms are high in protein... I wonder if he would eat those?
He can have shrimp.I have some tiny dried shrimps that I got to feed my tortoise, but he didn't like them. Would Sebastian be okay trying those?
