my chickens are alittle over 4 weeks old and are getting some perty feathers in, I had three but my buff orpington turned into a dog toy:( The RIR and EE seem to be doing well after i reinforced the chicken pen, would like to add a BO pullet if I can find one at a chicken swap meet.

They are cute when they are tiny, but they are lots more fun now that they are learning to fly up to the roosts and around the run. 5 of my 7 were sitting or standing on me at one point this afternoon, and then my little Misty (Partridge Rock) grabbed the end of a little scab on my leg and ripped the sucker right off. When I yelped, they all abandoned ship.

I have a garnet class ring set in gold, the babies always come straight for it to peck! They see and investigate the smallest things, yet when confronted for the first time with canned peaches, you'd think the boogie man was after them.
