Very aggressive birds

My sun conure will sometimes fly at me and then nail me hard but nothing compared to what she will do to friends

BOTH of my conures will tear a person up if they get messed with


My caique is not human aggressive but he will rip any bird apart that dares come onto his cage


Is this normal? I thought roosters were bad but they are nothing compared to these guys

This is bad bird behavior and should be curbed. I don't know enough to give you expert advice, but I can tell you that just as you need to be alpha dog as a dog owner, you must be number one bird with your birds. Your conures clearly do not respect you as above them in status, and that will cause behavior problems. As far as your caique who does not like other birds on his cage, that is more normal. A bird's cage is his castle, and he is defending his territory. He should be able to relax when he is there and not have to worry about intruders.
