That is on the other side of the state from me. I live in Walla Walla, WA. My husband is will to drive to Spokane area but not Seattle due to the traffic. Takes over 7 hrs one way.

Hi Jinxiekat...A couple things...You might try posting to the Duck Forum, and see what they say about sourcing your ducklings. Also...if you find something in spokane (I'm there) i'd be glad to foster them until you get to town, if you can find someone selling them up here. I did a search of some of the WW folks.

I found an add on Craigslist selling adult runners in a Spirit Lake; 4 females and 1 drake. It took them 13 days to respond to my initial inquiry plus the number they supplied is no longer in service. I'm afraid to even engage in a conversation with them since the response time most likely be excessive. Lol

kinda make me leery also maybe shoot them another email hey did you mis type the phone number it is out of service? google shows three Spirit Lakes

I have no clue how to search on this website/forum. Still trying to figure out what is what and where I should post what.

I think in the long run, we are just going to order ducklings. Get at least 2 of each color (black, blue, and chocolate) and all girls. Since the probablility of all 6 living was not high the 1st go.

Thank you for all the help though. i just didn't think finding this breed would be so difficult. Now if I was in the UK I could have had a ton by now.
