i have Just raised my first batch of 9 chicks a mix of pekins, Wyandotte and 1 buff orpington. I took a photo of them every week and thought you may like to see the results.
I kept the two pekins named Jody and Iron Man, the rest all went to new homes around 7 weeks old.
Please ignore the names, I had to have a way of identifying them all individually!
Gold Laced Wyandotte
White Pekin
Blue Splash Pekin (really wanted to keep him!)
Isabella Pekin (the mother of pearl/champagne type colouring to her feathers was hard to photograph).
Silver laced Wyandotte
Buff Orpington
Isabella Pekin 2
Furness Pekin (another I could of easily kept).
Milliefleur pekin.
It fascinates me how quick they grow!!
The milliefleur and Furness Cockerel both grew their feathers rapidly!
