I had a hen who laid true gray eggs one lady said that is just a green egg with bloom, I gave her an example of an egg with without bloom, and one with...

She tried to continue the argument... I showed her you could wash a BCM egg, but nobody ever says the dark is bloom. (below is a unwashed and washed dark egg the same one.)

I've had a few people seem grossed out when I tell them I scramble up extra eggs for the ladies (and boys), and someone even asked if it was basically cannibalism;
I figure that calling eggs "chicken periods" won't really make people view it any better, so I just tell them that their first meal in life is the yolk from the egg they hatched from, and that my chickens absolutely LOVE + go BALLISTIC for eggs when I give them some! Not to mention, they are very healthy for them .

They are worth much more in my opinion.
Being months younger lol. If a grocery store egg were to hatch 21 days after being laid, it would be laying by the time all the other eggs were taken.
