Good pm pond.
Finally done with clearing snow from the roofs of workshop, garden shed, feed shed, coop, breezeway and greenhouse. Also while DH was running his snowthrower on the west side of the house etc. I cleared the snow from the doors, walkways, chicken run and larger critter "play" yard with my snowthrower. Lot of work for one day but the already heavy snow had just enough moisture in it to turn to solid ice when the temps drop to expected minus zero range tonight if it weren't removed.
It finally stopped snowing and the wind, tho blowing, is not as bad as predicted so now it's time to relax. DH and the puppers are snuggled in "watching" golf thru closed eyelids in the bedroom leaving kitty and me to curl up with a warm blanket, a hot mug of cider and watch any Hallmark movie we want.
Work is done, warm home, comfy chair, wonderful smells from the big pot of chicken soup simmering on the stove and gentle crackling coming from the fire I lit to chase out the chill and dry our hats and mittens. This has to be possibly a little glimpse of what heaven is going to be like.
I may not be rich by the standards of the world, but I truly am richly blessed.
