What are some strange habits your chickens have?

Chickens are weird, there's no denying it! Some of the things they do are just a bit dumb, but we love them for it. Do your chickens have any strange habits worth sharing? I’d love to hear about them

Mine enjoy laying eggs on the roof of the coop, God knows why this has become such an esteemed laying spot but it is what it is.

They also sleep up there, hence the overload of poop.

I have no pictures but i have a hen who is obsessed with watching us in the kitchen. Anytime we do dishes or cook shes up at the window pacing and talking nonstop to us. It's funny ill give her scraps like lettuce and tomatoes and whatever veggie ends i have and she wont touch them. But as soon as i fling a shred of cheese her way she catches it mid air. She doesn't even like bananas or watermelon!
She also loves to jump on my shoulder and pick thru my hair while im talking to a neighbor or who ever is over. She has to be a part of the conversation.

Not sure if this counts but Pippin thinks she can walk through the chicken wire. Whenever she wants to go back inside after Free-ranging, she presses herself up against the fence and tries to walk through it.
I have to pick her up and show her where the door is

It’s not all that funny, but Mochi the silkie always comes up onto the deck when free ranging, then can figure out how to get down.

A few of the hens like to also dust bathe in the deck pots. They spray dirt everywhere. I don’t have any pictures though.

I have a male that kicks the door to their pen open. Literally.

Thats the only way mine will take worms is if i tap by it. They haul feathers from across the yard. If i cant find my youngest hen cause she doesnt stay with the other ladies I yell "tweet tweet!" And she comes like a bullet.

If mine are out free ranging and they see my come outside it's like a stampede, everyone wants to come see if I have any food.

One chicken, Sam, always pecks at the camera when I’m trying to take pictures. (For gender guesses) this time I do have photos!

So, I have an EE hen that circles the waterer with every drink. She takes a sip, walks around the waterer back to the same spot, takes a sip, repeat.
Some sort of OCD thing? Idk.

My chick will clean herself anywhere you tap on her.
Example-
I scratch her wing feathers, she preens her wing feathers (sometimes tries to preen my finger)

I give her a neck rub, she cleans her neck.
