What are you making for HALLOWEEN?

Its really difficult with it being so cold out. My little one will wear pants under her little tutu - and I have a pretty little pink sweater to wear over the top (I purchased a dance leotard for the top)

My daughter wants to be a mime for Halloween!
Talk about a cheap and easy costume...

Hard part will be finding a Marcel Marceau - style striped shirt. May get her a fake tuxedo t-shirt instead. But she really wants the striped one. She thinks the emo-style clothing stores will have one

Why don't you just buy a white, long-sleeved t-shirt and use a black sharpie to color in the stripes?

I'm all about the cheap fix!

We'd also thought about taping on stripes and then painting with a can of black spray paint. Just as cheap but EASIER!

I did that to make a Where's Waldo shirt years ago. It worked pretty well.

I like the spray paint idea even better!

Where's Waldo - that would have been a hilarious costume!

Wish I'd gotten a picture. My husband wore it to a band gig. But he left the house in regular clothes and changed when he got to the gig so he wouldn't mess it up. No one there thought to take any pictures of the band.
Another year I made him a spider drummer. He had extra stuffed fabric arms with drum sticks sewed on. He couldn't play with it on but it was still pretty funny.
