I'm making my dd a woodland sprite outfit-or something like that. I want to decorate, but not sure what to do that fits my budget this year. I like Martha Stewart looking halloween stuff, and love vintage halloween. I don't have a Martha budget though-wait....isn't her stuff at Walmart now?

How about a Deviled Egg. (Sorry couldn't resist that one) Seriously think about it. It would be different and cute. Make an egg shape outfit out of cardboard and put on some horns. You have a deviled egg and the kids face isn't covered so they can see.

We always dress up at work. We're doing pirates this year. My co-workers want me to be a parrot, we'll see about that.

I always carve a pumking and give the chickens the seeds, they love them.

Speaking of cheap costume ideas, does anyone have any more ideas for cute costumes that are cheap to make? ....and relatively easy? I really hate to go buy my kids 4 costumes that aren't well made, that they will tear up within a couple of months of buying them. (we use them for dress up after wards.)

Martha Stewart crafts are at Micheal's also. Cute, cute stuff.

I personally make my pumpkin seeds with regular oil (EVOO, or canola) and salt. Yummmmy! I'm curious to know your recipe Wildsky. My cooking always has room for improvement!

I think I will try to talk the hubby into taking the kids to the pumpkin patch later on today.
