My yearly taxes are $500 or 42 a month, yearly insurance is $700 or $59 a month. I think I could get down to $500 a month or less fairly easily once the house is paid off. Ours is 3 bedroom 2 bath on 1.488 acres, so not that expensive actually.

ETA: Utilities are around $125-150 average here.

Our property taxes come to $400 a month... but then I guess my budget includes PITI that involves farm business assets and not just our personal residence.

Yeah, we just live average home and land, a real farm would be MUCH MUCH more costly! Of course, I think it'd be worth it

You got me, My 'letctric is about 80 a month when running the furnace and so is internet/cable... But I sorta included that in my estimates
