What are YOUR other hobbies?

Collecting Church cookbooks, or hospital/school ones, silk florals, love to clean my house, and I am also an avid magazine clipper of different articles. I have thousands of sayings, recipes, jokes all put in a book. My mom did the same thing, I love to read some of her old time stuff.

Reading, cooking, sewing (just finished a quilt, FINALLY), I love taking pictures, and when the weather is nice I try to take my dog for a walk every day. I want to learn how to crochet, hopefully next month that will happen.

Got my Lord, my farm, work full time, go to school part time, two kids home, teenagers, hubby with really weird schedule, one grown child, my grandson, crochet, trying to quilt, read, and I love, love, LOVE to cook.

I love gardening, so I spend most of my summer either digging in the dirt or canning, freezing and drying as many fruits, veggies, & herbs as I can. I also knit and spin. I love learning new things, and I'm always looking for something else to try.

quilting - do alot of lap quilts and specail quilts for folks. last one i did was from the shirts of a gals dad who passed away. had enough of his flannel shirts to make one lap quilt for her and her brother.

crocheting - finally learned how to make a granny square and have been using up my scrap yarns for an afgan.

reading & book tapes - i read & listen to books all the time - hoping someday to learn how to get them into/onto my iPod.

Beside all the outdoor works and activitieson the farm here. I love Building new structures, Landscaping/ power tools/ fishing/ cats/ cooking.

Artist, surfing the net, and picking up after my husband...

I once thought being a "gigilo-escort" would be a good "hobby".......but I was a miserable failure at THAT "hobby".....

and NOW that I know something about it.........I'm TOO OLD !!!

So, I'm taking up "knitting".
