What breed is my rooster?

Hey there,

I recently got two cute little chicks that hatched naturally with my broody hen. she is a Plymouth Rock and the two chicks that survived are most likely hers, or one of the other Rock's. However i don't know what breed my roo is since i got him with the property a year ago, and id like to know what mix my chicks are.

Your rooster is a Silver laced Wyandotte. The picture of the hen is a Barred Rock and the chick looks like it's going to be a barred rock as well! Wonderful chickens!

He's a Wyandotte mix. That chick is sexlinked. A barred hen can only pass her barring gene to her male offspring. That means only male chicks will have that spot of white on the back of the head.

This. He has some bearding so not pure Wyandotte.

He's a Wyandotte mix, probably with an Easter egger or Ameraucana.

He can't be a pure Wyandotte, he has a beard. Wyandottes don't have beards.

He is a cross bred. Most likely a Wyandotte cross.
