What breed of chicken should I show?

hello everyone I am getting really into showing chickens which chicken breeds are best to show I’m thinking more about bantam breeds than standard?? Maybe silkies or frizzle?

I love showing both standard and bantam!
However, bantam are easier to show.
I'd recommend buying something with clean legs from a reputable breeder. Or starting with something from a hatchery.
There are many good choices. D'Anvers, Dutch bantams, Plymouth Rock bantams, and Wyandotte bantams are good easy to find choices. Easy to train too.
After you start with that you can start to lean toward the more difficult stages like Silkies, Cochins, Brahma bantams and d'Uccles.

Frizzles, Sebrights, Modern Game bantams (require dubbing on males), Leghorns, more rare breeds, and of course the Largefowl next.



(Frizzle isn't a breed in the US. It is a variety within a breed.)

Idk if you have sebrights but sebrights are GORGEOUS

Bantam cochins are awesome birds too show. They are clam and sweet. Only thing with them is that there feather feet need extra care to keep them nice.

You can only show white and black Seramas, no other colors.
So that's a no.
