Where did you get this one? Could it be pure breed or a barnyard mix? Note it has light pink/white legs and they are feathered. Of our breed, that should narrow it down. I’m not sure what breed though -the only feather legged birds we’ve had are Marans and Faverolles, but Faverolles have five toes. And this chick doesn’t look like my Marans.

So this one looks more like a male. Large red comb for the age. However, pics not super clear to see feathering that great. I’d look at the hatchery website, pay attention to the fact it has single comb and yellow legs. I don’t know the breed, but since you purchased from a large hatchery it should be on their website and should not be a mixed breed (EE and other colored layers are, by nature, mutts, so I’m excluding them from that statement!)

Good! You can look at their website. I’ll guess brown egg layer breed (but not sure). Look for feathered leg types and ones with those pale legs. I’ll bet you can figure it out from their website, looking for those characteristics.
when i ordered the chicks i order 8 egg layers, so it could be any steady egg laying sort of breed.
