What breeds do you wish you had?

Pics
I was hoping to get Gold Laced Wyandottes when I got mine this past June. The local feed store only had the Silver Laced variety. So far, they are nice chickens, but not as friendly as my others. I have always wanted Delawares as well, but they weren't available at the time, either.

On a last minute whim, I reserved two Silver Laced Polish (because I looked them up and loved their hair - my profile pic is of Sylvia, one of my SLPs). Not regretting getting them one bit, but I do worry how they'll do when everyone is all grown up. Have heard they can be a little more delicate than other breeds.

In truth, however, I have been thinking lately about possibly developing my own breed of chicken, but I'd need more coops/runs and a lot more time and money before I can do that ;). In the mean time, maybe I can do some research so I'm prepared if I ever take that big step.
my silver laced wyandottes are not very friendly, they love to go off by themselves, i have 2 of them, i have 4 barred rocks, 2 white plymouth rock, 3 buff orp, 2 easter eggers, 2 olive eggers, 2 ameraucanas, 2 olive eggers..5 silkies, 2 frizzles and 2 yokohama bantams....i wouldnt trade any of them.....

Living in a residential area, I wish but can't have as much as I'd want but have had/raised OEGBs, Seramas, Wyandottes, EEs, Orpingtongs, Australorps, RIR (not my favorite, Hubby's idea) .... Orpingtons my favorite breed. Wish I could have one in each color, hummm, that's an idea :fl but living here, it's a "dream".

Have been curious about the Whiting True Blues & Greens. Got 2 of each, the 2 on the left are WTG & on the right are the WTB, 5wks old and their personalities are developing. So far they are fun and love the color variations, no complaints, haven't found them any more "flighty" nor skittish than other chicks at this age. Waiting to see their eggs.

EDITED: I'd like to get some bantams (Porcelain d'Uccle, Mille Fleur d'Uccle and/or Quail Antwerp Belgian) but having to order SR of 15+ won't work for me due to living conditions ... What to do with the cockerels :(
i can understand that, i have 5 silkies, and 3 so far are cockerels, waiting to see what the other 2 are, so far they havent started to crow, i want a silkie pullet soooooo bad......

Ostriches will probably try to kill you. They are not friendly.
I know it isn't safe, nor feasible, to have ostriches. But I also know that ostrich farms exist. It's not going to happen; it is simply fun to imagine it. Going outside to feed ostriches, watching them forage and run about the land. Fun, in theory, though impractical.
