I would not feed any of these to my hens,,,, since if they got bit on the tongue, they have had it. :hit
No, I don't keep them as pets. Normally I leave them alone to eat the bugs in the house until they look like this

Good morning gardeners. It rained all day yesterday until 7:30 pm. On my walk through the garden his morning I noticed my mint is getting crazy big, I'm thinking of cutting some and taking it to the Senior Center today. My broccoli looks like it is getting ready to bolt so I'll be harvesting the small heads tomorrow morning and hopefully the side shoots will grow a bit more. The color on the pole beans is looking better and they are starting to climb. The chard seeds I planted last week are starting to come up. The peas are doing well and I'll pick some tomorrow. Not much else happening. I'll try to work on the mowing later, however the humidity is pretty bad so I'll see what I can get done. Have a great day everyone and stay away from those big spiders, please! :thumbsup

G'morning gardeners :frow

The cactus bloomed again. I've moved it into my office with the others and they all seem happy.

I'm gardening vicariously through you all, temps are too hot for anything but maintenance water now. Back up to 110* by next week :hit
Beautiful :love

It’s taken the peanut butter twice!! And the trap triggers just ask my ring finger!!
The wind is terrible and we have 4 more days predicted.
It’s beating everything up.
Looks like cantaloupe is what has taken in my junk dirt at least that’s what they look like to me. I don’t want to say out loud that I cannot believe my girls leave it alone:confused:
Got my little coop all cleaned out & dusted treated the roosts. I was surprised how fresh smelling (and looking) the bottom of my deep litter was. Definitely something I’ll stick with for next winter.
The mums took the transplant well (so far) and my transplanted pathetic hollyhocks are blooming. Happy gardening :bun
