What did you make from your garden today?

I got some tomatoes out of the freezer and made a pot of chilli.

I got some green beans and Summer squash from the freezer, will be having them with our ham dinner.

Picked a bunch of romaine lettuce today. Chopped, washed, added some leftover rotisserie chicken, garlic & cheese croutons, parmesan cheese, and Cesar dressing. It was INCREDIBLE.

I clicked on this thread from new posts and didn’t see the original date… I read like a page of posts thinking… what… how do so many people have tomatoes and zucchini already… then I saw watermelon and I was like waaait a minute….

Anyway I didn’t really ‘make’ anything from the garden today but I munched sone cilantro and perilla and moringa leaves while I was out watering my lil baby summer plants .

I have some romaine and Buttercrunch that's ready. I planted different varieties in 3 phases for succession planting so I should have lettuce of some type through July. I'll break from July-Aug due to heat, then start planting again in September.

I am getting into the raw frozen May's Teriyaki Hamburger lately. I cook it covered on a frying pan with my electric stove at heat level 4 for 5 minutes on both sides. The patties turn golden without the splattered mess. I broil my hamburger bun in a Breville Smart oven until it turns slightly brown. I have been using mayonnaise, dill pickle, home grown Pink Tie Die tomato slices and Ferry Morse Prizehead lettuce. It look and taste like soft French lettuce with a red tone on the green leaves. I serve the Teriyaki burger with air fried frozen French fries.

I have been eating this every day for lunch

I've never heard of teriyaki hamburger. Interesting....

Just fresh parsley from my garden, chopped and on top of a bowl of chicken rice and pinto beans, with cheese and Pace picante sauce. Happy Cinco de Mayo!
