What did you make from your garden today?

Pics
This morning I made myself a caprese bowl for breakfast. Between end of July and late September, I pretty much have this most mornings. I’m finicky with cottage cheese. I won’t touch it plain, but if it’s doctored up with ingredients I dig it.

1 or 2 tomatoes from the garden
Fresh basil from garden (~handful of leaves)
About three large spoonfuls of cottage cheese
Salt and Pepper
Dash of extra virgin olive oil.

Yum! It’s one of my summer favorites. Especially when it’s hot and you don’t want to cook. If anybody ties it, I’d love to know what you think.

Really! I have never heard of putting a stem from a tomato plant into something. What does it do for the recipe? Is it a flavor addition?

Does anyone else have recipe that calls for part of the tomato plant?

And I just pulled them all up...

Yesterday me and my folks had some DELICOUSE stir-fry of jalapeños, roasted cucumber, zucchini, and sliced peppers. With crunchy / sautéed mix of white & brown mushrooms, with garlic, dill, umami spice, and itailian spice. With a hint of cayanne pepper, I stir in some Sliced radishes, with a bunch of coconut oil! DEEEEEEEEEELICOUSE!!! YUM! hot but good. Serve/melt in coconut cream and serve ( if heat is too much)
Enjoy!! Jalepeno slices with Cruchy Mushroom Saute by Sequoia Raven.

I sautéed potatoes, onions, kale & sausage in a skillet with chicken broth as our main dish.

Made a spinach salad with roasted beets, golden raisins, nuts, and goat cheese with an orange & olive oil dressing.

Was a lovely and hearty meal!
SOOOOOO goooood sounding!!! I'll try replacing the goat cheese for Violife Feta crumble or Big Mountain Lion's main crumble and stir is with mushrooms, zuccinini and some radishes with a hint of lemony-orange!!
