hey katelyn give JJ ( napalongtails) or Rob ( FFFrancis) a try...i found them both to be fantastic to deal with. I think both of them have eggs available now.

Thanks for the promo aran, But we are officially done until about October as we are seperating hens and roos for fair time and then they will be in quarentine upon their return for 30 days. Anyone wanting eggs please e-mail either my son
( [email protected]) or myself privately at ([email protected]) We will put you on a first come first serve list. See ya after show season

I would love to participate. Perhaps other Canadian members would like to swap with me as it costs a lot to for the eggs to cross the border with health clearances. I will have all of the breeds listed in my tag in the next few months. I also have a red phoenix rooster that needs a home now! he is under a year old.

No need to apologize aran, I'm just looking to get my NPIP certifications by the first of the year and I need to move critters around to keep things safe.

It sounds like a great idea to me, rather than all this buying and selling and ending up where we started! I'll have standard Buff Orpingtons, Porcelain Mille Fleur D'Uccles, Giant Silver Laced Cochins and Bantam Sultans to offer (I just have one pair of those though). I should also have Blue Silkies and Pekin Ducks by the spring.

Im hoping to have polish, RIR, ameracana/ee ( i dont know if mine are the real deal or not although they came from a private breeder so who knows), and mutts i guess. I also have a pair of white crested ducks and a pair of rouens. So hopefully next spring we should be off to a flying start with this egg swap thing. I wanted to get some eggs to hatch this year but im thinking now that if they came in the next week, then took 3 weeks to hatch then 4-5 more weeks to feather up it would mean puttting 5 week old babies outside in NY in the beginning of november and it can be pretty darn cold here that time of the year. In fact they may still be quite small when the first snow comes and I dont want that so I will just wait until next year. Im thinking of maybe cutting down the flock in some breeds and adding some others. I would like to have some black or white araucana...the real mccoy not EE or americana/ameraucana but true araucanas.

Last night at the fair i fell in love

with these adorable little i think old english game birds. There was a porcelin (sp) and i think a pile it might have been called? There was also a white one. I wanted all 3. I wish you could offer to buy them from the people but nobody was there. So thats the next thing i try to sneak by the DH into my little chicken farm
