that makes sense. You don’t prefer Oakley because of size or too high energy? I think he is gonna be a big boy, he is only nine months and already pretty big.Well we were but then Oakley came along and we were thinking about still getting one but Oakley is already almost too much so another dog if WAY down the line. I personally would say I'd much take a newf to Oakley's type. I love Oakley because he's our dog but I wouldn't get another like him...just not my type of dog looks or personality. I'm definitely a giant working dog person
I honestly fell in love from the first one I met, I've never met a pyr that I didn't love. I'm gonna miss one of my client pyrs when they move, she was pretty skittish but once she warmed up to be she was an angleI could see you doing that![]()
AwwwwwwwAdopted a 9 year old husky named Luna last week. Shes is so loving and has an amazing/hilarious personality![]()
Energy mostly. His very high strung and crazy, I know he's still a puppy though but I know he'll never be as chill as a pyr or similar breeds. And I prefer fluffy dogs if we are going to looks. I'm sure Oakley gonna be great and go on to win lots of events and be a wonderful dog though. He's just a big chewer, constantly going, no off switch, and he frustrates me sometimes which isn't his fault. I'm hoping age will helpthat makes sense. I’m sure age will! Just enjoy it! One of my favorite things about Dobies is the high energy and drive. SOOO much potential!! You are going to be able to do some really cool stuff with him. I'm sure ShrekDawg will be happy to hear thatI saw this on the home page and decided to check it out. To whoever made this thread, you seem like a very excited person and I appreciate that. As for the dog breed, I'd go with Dachshund every day. However, I'll come back tomorrow to reveal another dog breed.
Dachshunds are cute! Do you have a preference of color or hair length? I can't wait!
