Hello everyone!
Was wondering what hatcheries people buy from. So if you could please fill out the poll! Multiple votes aloud. (Will be closed in 7 days)

I personally buy from Meyer Hatchery and have had good luck from them!

I ordered my first flock from Meyer's in May. They all arrived alive and well in about 24 hours (despite my local post office, which was awful). All 13 ended up being pullets. I imagine they wouldn't win any awards at a chicken show, but they are pretty enough for me, and many of them are laying well, which is more important to me. I am still figuring out who is and is not laying (and who is laying what), but I was prepared for none of them to lay until Spring. I'm grateful that we're getting some eggs through the autumn and hopefully winter. I have good things to say about Meyer's, but I don't know if I'll order through the mail again, simply because my local PO sucked....
