It seems like the weather for Maine has been extra wishy-washy this year.

We've had probably 16" so far. Further south got much more, but they also got a ton of rain. We're due for a wintery mix tonight and maybe another few inches on Sunday. So Santa should have plenty of snow for his sleigh this year.

Fruitcake.! Only time of year I can find the candied fruit locally.

I've used Daisy's Fruitcake recipe for many years. It's not too difficult, and the apples make it stand out from all other fruitcakes.
