What is Your Favorite Christmas Dish? (PARTY!)

Pics
Here is our cat, Bitty, in a previous year, with a red cedar tree cut from our property. Around here, these prolific cedar trees are considered weeds. They make a lovely Christmas tree, and for free! We have not yet cut one for this year.

We get our tree of the property to. Normally down by railroad tracks were they have been stunted.
Making a perfect Christmas tree!

Mary Berry would be so pleased - no soggy bottom. Please post a picture if you remember. What are you using as a mold?

I use a large spring form pan for the baking, just a simple round, and then I decorate it on top with extra dough.
I actually have cookie cutters of a reindeer (elk), bird (duck), pig and rabbit which is about what goes into it so I put four slits in the top and then alternate those with the cutouts. Then I use the rest of the dough to do other pretty things.
I don't have pictures from last year. We ate it too fast!!! Yule is VERY chaotic for us as we have about 30 people total in our house for dinner on that day. I'll try hard to get pictures this year!

Time for Christmas.

I once spent over a hour traipsing through the woods in the dark with my phone flashlight, following random cat prints because i couldn't find Monro anywhere in the house and thought he escaped. I gave up and went home when my battery was about to die. There he was, sitting on the middle of the living room, staring at me when I walked in...
Cats must be aliens.
