Here is our cat, Bitty, in a previous year, with a red cedar tree cut from our property. Around here, these prolific cedar trees are considered weeds. They make a lovely Christmas tree, and for free! We have not yet cut one for this year.

Thank you Val! DH's comment wasn't based so much on my lack of decorating skills, he just prefers his sugar cookies plain.
