oh how lovely! Is that a sun conure? we use to have parrots when I was a child. I enjoy them but I don't have time to give them the attention they need.

we had lauries, conures, quakers, lovebirds, parakeets and finches. oh and doves. I miss my doves, such gentle birds.

Dogs first--after that anything with feathers. As far as people, I love the Princess in her pink feathered boa.

Dogs over cats for sure , but guess its birds ,birds ,birds.....had some kind of birds for over 50 years......quail to Ostrich.....Peafowl are grand, parrot can be just as good as a nice house dog. live alot longer too

Being a bird person, no need for CATS...think most do more harm than good........

my cats and birds have always gotten along. you can train cats to leave the birds alone easier than people think

that sounds cute. i keep hearing neat things about rabbits but my experience with them is that they eat and poop and simply tolerate being held. maybe i'm just not good at reading "rabbit language"

The first few days matter. You want to get a bunny who either has been socalized by it's breeder (held, petted and handled as a baby) or else get one young enough to socialize yourself. It's much harder to teach a teen or adult bunny to accept handling. Ours is free-ranged during the day, and usually sits at my feet begging for treats, when he needs to drop bunny berries he hops to his cage, uses the box, and hops back.
