Can anyone tell me what this is?

It looks like either a partially formed soft shelled egg or a lash egg.

It looks like a lash egg from possible salpingitis, an inflammation of the oviduct. Could you cut it in half and take another picture?

Actually, I think Sourland is right, it looks more like egg white.

We've had a hen laying super soft shell eggs while she roosts and now the others are eating them.
HELP!
So, I saw the rest of the flock eating at one of the shells again, and then this was in the nesting house ... could be from same egg?
How do I stop this?

It could very likely be the hen who has been laying soft eggs. They can experience a lot of different of different oddities if they are having reproductive problems. Impacted oviduct is common, and can lead to internal laying or egg yolk peritonitis. Salpingitis is an infection in the oviduct, and that may not be what you are dealing with. If you are seeing soft eggs in the hen you can make sure that she is getting some extra calcium, such as having crushed oyster shell available, or egg shells fed back. Infectious bronchitis, a common virus, can affect shell formation.
