I'm scared. Scared that I may have a little boy I will be forced to re-home... I love this little munchkin. She/he is about 6 weeks old. Please, give me your expertise. I've searched all through the googles and the backyardchickens... Is my little Lavender a Lavendhim?

That's what I was afraid of Those red feathers scare me.

Looks like a pullet to me. The full tail and pale comb makes me think pullet. Another sexing tip I've heard of with pea comb chickens is if the comb has 3 distinct rows of peas it's a cockerel. Hope this helps!

Even in breeds like Rhode Island Reds you see the darker red on males, but in this chick it might or might not mean male. It's a little young to say for sure.
