I have three gold laced wyandotte chicks that are about 11 weeks old. Does anyone know a range when specificly GLW's start to lay? Thanks

? Most commonly kept breeds actually start laying closer to the 20-26 week range, even the later end of your range is going to be more the exception than the rule with super layers/fast maturing hybrids. In my experience (none with Wyandotte but with other chickens), they usually start laying around 11-15 weeks. So you are very close and to encourage them, put a golf ball in the nesting area. Good luck
