When will she give birth

This thread started out being kind and helpful, and now it seems like everyone is pressuring the OP into doing something she has clearly stated she cannot do. Maybe animal control won't do anything where she lives. And how is she supposed to get the dog to a shelter? She said she can't drive, and her parent won't do anything. Most shelters, other than Humane society's, euthanize dogs and cats that aren't adopted out after so long, or if they don't have enough space. Most humane society's won't take in dogs from somebody dropping them off, or they call it "surrendering" animals, and there is usually a fee. I think the OP is already doing everything she can, and doing a great job of it. She has helped this dog in tremendous ways. Most people wouldn't even care, and she is doing everything she can while risking getting in trouble.

Of course, I totally get this, but there has to be something that we can all help figure out to do, if the owners are beatign the dog with a stick. That is out of control on the therribel owners part. I defiantly down want to pressure you or anything, this is probably stressful, but it is probably 2 of the best things to do in this situation. I am so sorry you have to go through this! :hugs

Yes, it is terrible! I honestly don't know what I would do in this situation. It seems like every possible solution is not viable.

I agree. And as you said, has anyone stopped to consider reporting them could result in all the dogs being put down? It’s never a guarantee they’d be adopted. Neighborly relationships would be damaged.

Best case scenario is to offer assistance in adopting out the puppies, and offer assistance in taking the remaining dogs to a community spay/neuter event to prevent future accidents. OP is clearly a minor here, and ultimately had limited say in the situation so no sense in being judgmental, and offering solutions that they couldn’t possibly manage by themselves.

Thank you, they don’t understand that I’m trying my hardest and I’m doing as much as I can. Im trying my best to do what I can, I’ve talked to him and he won’t budge. He’s starting to get upset about it so if I bring it up anymore I might not be able to even have the dog over when she gives birth at all.

Ok, don't push it with him then. I would just not even talk about it and focus on caring for her the best you can.
