Welcome Amber! A great bunch here someone will get you hooked up with what you need. GR Adam knows when to quit. So much more but it's gone. Traffic is moving good here got around 3" and rain/sleet. Nice crust on it. Have been debating plowing or not with the warm weather coming. Maybe don't need to but I HAVE TO!

not a lot of snow,, enough to shovel .. but then maybe it will melt, and then again, it might turn to slush and then freeze..nothing like frozen ruts to walk over,, I think I will plow..

poor Amber,, ask for s LITTLE advice and get swamped.. we won't see her for awhile if she reads all that stuff, first..

after all the pole dancing and flannel shirt and commando poses etc,, she is prolly hiding in a closet..

I have to make a milk run for Annie.. I D K if I should plow first or wait until I get back home..

And of course, looking at the map right now Hwy 10 is ice covered and hazardous. Great. Headed in to the UW today. Semester started last Friday and I have a weeks work of labs to prep for since I am going on a field trip with youngest DS tomorrow.

Oldest DD took the ducks some minnows yesterday. I bet they were happy to have a treat like that! They have not had minnows in quite a while.

Ok, been procrastinating enough here. Have to stop at Woodman's before the UW so I better get moving.

morning all. My hubby isn't even playing the "maybe I should game" like DrH and Jim. He's already out with the tractor dragging the driveway.

Crazy things going on my coop this past week, hope it's just the weather, sigh. Still haven't made up my mind totally what I want to add to my girls. I'm thinking maybe Broody Butt may be at the end of her productive time (she's the only one that I have no idea of her age since they were all supposed to be PB's and she turned out to be an Aussie+) so I may have to add at least one more than planned. I need to make up my mind soon!!!

I WANT THEM ALL! I WANT THEM ALL!!! yes, I am having a chickie fever relapse, sigh. If I don't make up my mind soon I may need an intervention

Ok, off to FF. They have a great sale on mealworms and stuff. I LOVE stuff!!!

Good morning folks,

did the chores and moved some of the snow,,,,,got about 4" of wet stuff, making command decision as to how much I want to clear where I walk,,,supposed to rain and freeze tomorrow night then the deep freeze returns. Rather not have to wear skates for chores,,,hmm

girls in one coop are on strike,,,,the pullets,,,no idea why,,,pouting from being shut in is my guess (IF they pout)

also finding one light brown pullet egg in the big coop,,,,must have a reject Ameraucana,,,,,grrrrrr

bbl need to get the snow removal finished while the sun is out

Welcome Amber!!

I was up at 3:30 this morning and posted and then my internet decided to do the spinie thing of death.. and I had to reboot. Finally got back to bed about an hour and a half before I was due to get up.
Had to go to the DMV this a.m. to get another set of plates for my truck, some one stole the one off the back.

I have them parked on the driveway up near the road as we didn't get plowed at all this year. I have the new one taped inside the rear window and the doors locked.
I have to call the village police department to see if I can keep it there...
The only other way to secure it is either nailing it or screwing it in to the wooden bed by the back bumper, and that is where it was stolen thurs of fri night.

Well I gave myself 10 mins to go online and now I have to take a nap so i can get to work and stay "fresh" for them.. not that I am talking to any of them...
Its kinda nice, I have to say...
