Good morning! Just waiting for the brew to get done.......

soon...So I went to the new store yesterday and oohed and aahd over all the produce and already mixed up stuff. Got some fresh salsa and some antipasto type salad with olives, zucchini and tomato--said there was fresh basil in it too...didnt taste any. I also got a few shrimp for a treat before dinner--made a little shrimp cocktail for me and DD24. Then I made our sandwiches with the meat I had in the slow cooker and tomato, avocado, provolone and cranberry chutney. Yummy...Here it is:

Good Morning All! TO you have to stop posting pics like that or else you'll have an unwanted guest for every meal. ME! You set a beautiful and delishious table! I'm trying to tame my batch of chili WOW it's a hot one! Have to go back sneakin up on it and not just dumping in what I think it needs before it needs it. Hey I did put back a bag of onions and jalapenos into the freezer. cd sounds like you stocked up! I like looking in the cupboard and having what I need think it comes from times of not having plus I hate to go to town for one item. Glad your getting eggs! Isn't it cool? WCc hope things work out on the Tomah situation. Really wish there was a way to fit them in here. Gotta go stir the chili. The sun's shining!

Hello-
Those brussel sprouts look so good, mine didn't turn out this year. Last year I froze about 10 package from the garden, but this year for some reason the little heads didn't form.
I love reading all of your message and am sorry to say this is the first time I am getting around to posting. It should be easier now. We only have a light dusting of snow over here, I am waiting for more.

I was in the woods today and took two ladder stands down....seems kinda sad that the season is over for me. Blessed this year for sure. Two more to take down.
Just a quick hellow for now....off to the shower and then into church for the annual pot luck supper. Suzie made scalloped potatoes and ham....always a feast there. Later All... ~ bigzio

to all the new peeps! my stupid computer got a virus that whiped out windows and with out window they dont run. RRRR! still got my moms laptop and I will say I will never get one. I'm hosting a baby shower this weekend, what a pain! its to close to Christmas. well gotta run homework time

My roo has pulled his head into his box and is sleeping...bet he is happy to be inside! Hopefully he will feel better tomorrow...he ate a bunch tonight so I am hopeful for his return to health. Maybe I wont have a house roo all winter? Hard to say...if he is in he is in! I can say that I kind off miss Charlie's crowing every morning! So maybe I WILL have another roo for the winter...I need to get rid of his mites though....he is covered! Goodnight! Terri O

All new folks. I am barely out of the egg myself.

I made the most astounding stew/soup yesterday.. and it was my first time too.. I have a slow cooker I barely use.. But I got some venison from the neighbor and well I had no clue what to do with it.
BUT my barn owner had made a venison soup, using a chunk of haunch.
So i got some potatoes, carrots, an onion and celery chopped it all up, quartered the venison and broiled it to brown it. Used beef broth and a can of french onion soup as the base...
OMG

I had enough to put aside some for DH's friend, some for my barn owner, and added some more soup stock after shredding out the venison.. for dinner tonight..
OR WOULD HAVE....
If my roommate hadn't eaten ALL OF IT... this is me... doing this to my roommate

and me not having more soup

and my phone call to him...

He came in, said nothing and handed me 20 dollars...

So now I have to find more venison roast.. I only have 1 MORE... waaaaaahhhhh

evening all!
T.O. good looking supper ! my garden went to hell this year we had way too much rain.I had 20 tomato plants and only got about 12 quarts of sauce that really sucks i got 3 times that from 4 plants last year. and i had 60 stalks of corn and only got 3 doz ears to freeze down and i didnt have the usual corn roast. 1 bell pepper out of 10 plants but i did can 33 quarts of pickles but i did my math wrong and put too much salt in them this year and they sucked too lol. even the yellow squash and zuquni wich are indestructable didnt do anything.
but theres always next year right!

bbl4 i was gona call you about that shed and i forgot all about it with all the excitement about deer hunting do you still have it?

well only got 1 egg today i think one of my hens decided to take the day off what a slacker so the baby had to go hungry lol just kidding were gona wait till tomorrow and split them

did any of you guys buy that 3 gal elect waterer from fleet? i really dont like it its a pain in the but to fill and makes a mess when you flip it back over and my cord is about 16 inches long. just really not happy with it.
