It is no different that the way lobster Crab, or clams, are cooked, but that is still wrong too. I don't eat sea food, unless it is shrimp. In that case, I consider shrimp so small, and nasty as a creature that it is just a bug. But boiling a bird alive, that's awful.

I'm afraid I have to agree with this.
There are delicacies in some places that we wouldn't even dream of eating here or in the States. I guess it's just part of their way of life.

But like sour said, there's no way I'd sell the things if I were raising chooks for pets.

so, because you don't view shrimp as "worthwhile" then it is ok to boil them alive, but other animals are too cute or ??? to be cooked in certain ways?

If you work in a healthcare facility and your job is to feed him, then you might end up having to do it anyway.

If you don't want to, don't sell them. But, since you asked, nope I wouldn't have a problem with selling them. Feeding them to someone, no. Though I wouldn't have an issue with cooking them either. But, I wouldn't want to be feeding someone anyway, so I don't work in assisted living or the healthcare field.

How would those go over in the BSA thread? What would they be listed in hatching eggs or chicks less than 8 weeks?
