Would you leave negative feedback?

I recently purchased 2 dozen hatching eggs on ebay- needless to say- when I recieved them 14 were crushed. They were in a carton with bubblewrap wrapped around it with balled up newspaper in the box- not very good packaging. I contacted the seller and he said Oh well- send me some pics but Im not doing anything about it. Should i leave neg feedback- I really hate too, but the pacaging could have been so much better!! He even charged me $26 to ship them!!

Most definitely---you should leave feedback, that's what it's for---the condition of the eggs upon arrival
Just state the facts in your feedback--leave out any emotion

I would be courteous and ask them to re-send and leave it at that. Oh and send him proof of the damage.

You used the word "crushed". Was the box crushed or were the eggs just broken? If the box was crushed there is not much the seller could have done to prevent that.

I would give him negative feedback due to his attitude about it. If he would have offered money back or credit for another set of eggs, that would be different.

I don't know why he would want photos of the crushed eggs if he didn't care, though. Perhaps you should send him the photos, wait a few days, and see what happens before giving negative feedback.

Try again.. Tell them you will leave negative feedback if they do not fix the problem..

If not do more than leave negative feedback, contact ebay and report them!

I am a seller on ebay. I sell grill planks and yoga blocks. I have made thousands and thousands of transactions... I would NEVER question a customer the way you were questioned!

I replace replaceable items with no questions asked if they are defective.

The eggs were scrambled in the cartons- the box was in perfect shape. I went back and saw his feedback- He hasnt sold in a year or so- but MAN!! I wish I had seen that first- he had 15 negatives for the same thing that happened to me!!! I will send him pics though- I know people say they dont replace eggs, but I would have if that happened to one of my buyers!!! Definitely!!

I absolutely would leave negative feedback! Lord have mercy! It sounds like the person I bought eggs from, and NONE of them hatched!
