In the Brooder
Hello,
Sometime around January of this year, I gave some fertilized eggs to a neighbour to hatch, as they wanted to start a brood of thier own! I had assumed all these eggs were silkies. Today, I saw a picture of one of the chickens that hatched from one off the eggs I gave them, and I'm thinking it must be a wyandotte-silkie mix, because the only other chicken I had in my silkie coop was a wyandotte. I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of a silkie/wyandotte mix to help me identify the chicken. I can't tell from the picture whether it is male or female - I'll have to go meet the chicken soon! I will try to post the image soon.
Thanks!
