Yes she does. Her biggest problem is the bucks. Because of her broken back leg, she cannot support a buck when he tries to breed her. It is going to be a long hard winter for her as she continues to cycle in and out of heat and bucks keep trying to breed her.

I guess bucks don't understand 'not now, I have a leg ache'. Hope she'll be ok!

They are worse than us guys with their one track minds during breeding season. I suppose it is understandable when the normal breeding season is usually only 6 weeks long.

Indeed. I can almost taste the Spanish Rice that it will become a part of. Last winter I had a head lettuce plant in the living room that I was harvesting one leaf at a time to put lettuce on my sandwich.
 
Sunshine and no wind here. Close to 30 degrees last time I looked. We probably only got about 3" of snow but I spent most of the morning shoveling 2' drifts out of the chicken yard. The poultry are all out enjoying a little freedom after being confined for several days. :wee
