    My GF always did the birds while she was pregnant. Our little man seems to be fine LOL, little guy just wants to GO GO GO. At only 4 months he is somewhat crawling but really just tries to stand up!!!! I can already tell he's gonna be a mess!

    the easiest tell is the hackle feathers, look for pointy neck feathers....pointy=cockeral not pointy=pullet

    I always boil the water then use a spoon to put the eggs in gently, and when they're ready to come out I put them in an ice water bath for like 10-15 minutes. They peel easier but not perfect.

    NH- I'm kinda sad no one has mentioned Brahmas!!!!! My roo is like the girlfriends dog.... And I must say he is gorgeous and pretty darn big!
